Diogo is passionate about machine learning and its application in analytical chemistry, finding trends and patterns in chemical data is what he enjoys doing. He believes in a bright future by the certain use of AI in our society. Holds a MSc in Chemical Analysis and Characterisation Techniques (2019) where he developed a novel data augmentation algorithm for upsampling classes in chemical data problems.

Besides researching work, Diogo has experience in solving industry-related problems by the use of analytical methods such as HPLC-MS and GC-MS.
